Martha Rodriguez – Ruiz, D.O.
Dr. Rodriguez – Ruiz is board certified in Family Medicine. She is fully bilingual and committed to providing the highest level of quality care to her patients with a focus on disease prevention. She offers a full range of primary care services including adolescent and adult preventative medicine, woman’s health, chronic disease management and minor office procedures.
Dr. Rodriguez – Ruiz was born in Dallas, Texas and is fluent in Spanish. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor in Science in both Chemistry and Biology. She attended University of North Texas Health Science Center where she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2001. Her interest in medical missions led her to Valley Baptist Family Practice Residency in Harlingen, Texas where she completed her residency training in 2004. Since that time she has worked in all areas of medicine including emergency room, hospital and urgent care to outpatient and occupational medicine. As an osteopathic medical physician she has a clear understanding of how the body works together as a perfect system. She understands the mental, spiritual and physical connection and how each one affects the other. She is excited to share this with her patients and incorporate this in their care.
